recording and production
I have over 7 years of experience within recording and production. I started producing from my bedroom at 16, since then I have worked in 2 recording studios and graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Music Production.
I work as an engineer at Powerhouse Studios in Coventry, however you can book me anywhere. I have a remote setup that allows me to produce and mix from home as professionally as I can in a studio.
mixing
Mixing is my favourite part of my job, I think every song requires a unique approach. When mixing I like to work to references, this means I’ll ask you to send me some of your favourite sounding music.
I like to add character to songs, this means when possible I use the analogue gear available to me.
mastering
In my last year of university I received mentorship from legendary mastering engineer Dave Mitson, who has worked with Michael Jackson, Black Sabbath and many more.
Mastering to me is more than making your music loud, although that is important. It’s the last step in glueing everything together and taking a mix to the next level.
